„ An italian/german rooted singer and songwriter who loves to combine mediterranean folkore, latin and jazz with melodic poplines“
Her sound is unique, the songs as colorful as life itself.
Maybe it is her italian temper that makes her express everything a little stronger, the need to dive into a feeling and explore borders, musically and literally, on stage and in real life.
Being raised in Berlin she got influenced very soon by all the various cultures the city has to offer. Via high school in Paris and jazz studies in Barcelona she took the road to the Netherlands, her current location.
Sometimes she gets asked, what she is now that she‘s graduated from the ArtEZ Popacademy in spring 2010.
Matured as artist and person would be her spontaneous answer.
For the ones who like facts:
Tom Salisbury (Van Morrison, The Pointer Sisters) and Jaap Roggeveen helped to develop her songwriting skills.
With teachers like Marja Reinders, Adrienne West and Davy de Wit she is ready to teach singing and songwriting.
Minored in Music Management (Ton Lamers teaching ‚Musiconomie‘) and working as intern at Overijssel‘s biggest Pop Venue ‚Atak‘ she has organized various productions (a.o. for more than 700 people) and improved the network for Conservatorium students with Atak.
Furthermore she followed lessons and master classes from Cor Bakker, Pedro Javier Gonzalez, Victor de Diego, Tjeerd Oosterhuis, Marlayne Sahupala and many more.
Besides providing singing, songwriting and theory lessons she loves to perform with her 50s & 60s cover trio The Petticoats and her vocal group Sharp (known from TV programma The Sing Off)
In short: enough inspiration for the demos of her first album: Open-hearted songs about love and life, with all the shades of grey in between. Written to be shared. On stage and in real life.
